Why Racemvmt?
Racemvmt transforms the space we work and live- addressing racial injustice, inequality and dismantling systemic racism, through education, accountability, and action of the mind and body.
Learning about systems of inequality and racism goes beyond the surface. We need to come together to see the bigger picture.
Racemvmt is founded on the principles that believe in order to create sustainable transformation in our communities - removing cultural, racial and economic disparities- we must change the way we approach the world by changing the way we move in this world. We must analyze all definitions of the word “movement” and apply it to oneself. The work begins when the choice is made. It begins with showing up everyday.
Through the integration of knowledge, awareness and accountability we will open an honest conversation about race. Challenging what you know as we create a socially conscious environment and work towards an equal and inclusive future. This community provides you with resources, guidance and an open space to actively listen, learn and engage. Because when we challenge every day, we move forward together.
